Working on the M.Sc. research project would never have been possible without the able teaching and guidance provided by all the teachers throughout my B. Pharm. at VES. My time in VES was certainly the best till now with so many memories. Being the first batch of VES, we had a challenging time in the first year but which helped us a lot in the next three years which went on smoothly. The lectures conducted are so unforgettable every day at 9:15 am...!! The concepts taught in Pharmaceutics and Chemistry has helped me a lot, then and now. A few words are not enough to describe my sentiments for VESCOP, though I’ll give it my best shot. As part of the very first batch, I was there for the growing pains; to see it flourish from a tiny sapling to a huge, evergreen tree. Even as we stepped into a brand new college five years ago, we were provided with every basic facility that is desired in an institution at this level and the infrastructure was only improved as the years went by. We got the opportunity to work with some very high quality equipment and in labs that were as good as any, and better than most. All these amenities would be of use without the guidance and support of our excellent faculty and staff. [University of Mumbai] The journey of four years with V.E.S. College of Pharmacy was the most memorable one, which all of us will cherish for life. It was not only an educational institute which taught us Pharmacy, but it was our second home where we were nurtured to become good human beings. Unfortunately, in India Pharmacy is a profession of chance and not of choice, as many of us landed in to it just because we could not secure admission in to M.B.B.S., but the teachers of this institute with their brilliant experience and knowledge made us realise that we are in to an equally important profession. While many of us landed here by chance but few of these learnt that this was what we wanted to do and hence Pharmacy became our passion. PARENTS SPEAK ABOUT COLLEGE Feedback by Parent for VESCOP Vivekanand Education Society was formed in central suburbs of Mumbai.  The society was started in the era of 1960’s with an aim of spreading education has now grown up in a large education hub. Progress of VES is amazing & the quality of education & principles imbibed by various schools & colleges helped to develop better citizens of this country. Vivekanand Education Society’s college of pharmacy is a recent introduction in various colleges/ schools run by VES. The college is built up with good amenities & the facilities provided to the students are up to the mark. Laboratories are good & the teaching as well as non-teaching staff is supportive. Vivekanand Education Society  started its educational activities in 1962 in chembur area of Mumbai with only 256 students in a High School. The society celebrated its golden jubilee in the year 2013. The society has flourished by many folds in these 50 years. The excellent and affordable educational conglomeration of institutions, more than 26 colleges, schools and other centers having students strength of 17112 with faculty/ teaching staff of 633 and non-teaching staff numbering to 320 under VES umbrella. The society imparts education down from nursery to Graduation, Post-graduation and Ph. D. The  Hashu Advani Memorial Complex  accommodates the Engineering, Pharmacy and Management colleges affiliated to University of Mumbai with separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The society also plans to add new courses in collaboration with foreign universities.
